Hello There!

I'm so happy that you've taken on one of my requests and I'm looking forward to reading your work! Below you'll find page jumps to whichever fandom we may have matched on, which (hopefully) provides a better idea of my likes & dislikes for each. [ Good Things; ] Generally, I enjoy character driven stories and stories that focus on relationships (friendship or romance). Stories that explore how the characters interact with each other, what they like to do in their down time, the ways in which they're alike and the ways that they differ. Quiet moments spent together whether romantic or platonic. Trope inversions are amazing and dear to my heart. So are found families, real families, friends becoming amazing friends, and plot heavy stories. When it comes to romance, I enjoy gradual builds, so pacing is very important; get closer; "show, don't tell." I love characters pining for one other, whether it's one-sided or mutual -- think well-done angst with a happy/hopefully ending. I also love romantic pairings that invest in each other-- winning the other over and letting them know they're loved is a high priority. How they do it doesn't have to be overt- it can be as simple as letting them pick the pizza toppings. On the other hand, it doesn't have to be complete mush. For certain canon personalities, I expect friction. Rather than miscommunication, I prefer conflict that rises from being too honest. I also like obsessive/unhealthy relationships dynamics and codependence. ❯ ❯ ❯ AUs, canon divergence, and harrowing capers (Noir!) are highly encouraged -- G to NC-17: let your imagination run wild! ❮ ❮ ❮ [ Bad Things; ] Please stay away from noncon, pregnancy, childhood friends tropes/retellings/au, a/b/o, gender swap, cheating and major character death (tho near-death is fine). I really dislike 1st person narrative, so please stick to 2nd or 3rd if possible (past/present doesn't matter). [ Naughty Bits; ] I don't shy away from smut, but I'm pretty vanilla. Frottage is my favorite thing-- I like the idea of lovers being so aroused, there's barely time to remove clothing before they're touching each other. Clothed sex is a very close second. Masturbation (pining!), voyeurism, makeouts, blowjobs, hand jobs, body worship, and rough sex are all fine. Yosuke Hanamura ✕ Teddie (Kuma) Yosuke has taken Teddie in and given him a life in Inaba. While he loves to act and speak as if Teddie is a burden to him, Yosuke's actions tell a different story. I like to think Yosuke not only cares about Teddie very much, but needs him; that he serves as a link to the experiences they've all shared and is physical proof that they really happened. Yosuke struggles with being a lonely person and insecurity. Teddie appears to be the polar opposite, bouncing off the walls and brimming with confidence. However, I feel that Teddie shares Yosuke's insecurities. He doesn't have a solidified identity and he's not truly human. I'd love to see their everyday relationship explored and seeing it blossom into something more. Being around each other may mean they have secrets or inside jokes that no one else will understand. Lucien Carr ✕ Allen Ginsberg Lucien and Allen's relationship appeals to everything I love about pining and denial. It's passionate in the best way, where both are aware of the combustion their chemicals make, but neither stop themselves from drawing near the flames. Lucien and Allen are both looking out for their own interests, and that is achieving what they want from the other. Lucien seems to arouse a passion that borders on madness to those unlucky enough to fall for him, but it's so sweet they thank him for it. Allen offers companionship, loyalty, a kindred spirit. They'll never know each other completely and the idea of still learning each other, reading through the lines (lies), appeals to me. What's fake and what's real? Haikyuu!!

Hinata Shouyou ✕ Kozume Kenma Ahhhh. This pairing really grew to be something I adore and wish to see so much more of. From the first time they met, Hinata and Kenma formed an instant connection. It was so simple : honest answers, quiet smiles, and thoughtful text messages. Sometimes you just find someone who resonates with you -- you see something in them that tells you they're special and that they're going to be part of your life; natural. Introverted Kenma and extroverted Hinata understand each other on an almost preternatural level because they both love volleyball. I don't believe Kenma to be a shy person; I think he takes things at his own pace, and like his video games, analyzes those around them before engaging. He has people he cares about, hopes and dreams, and takes life as it comes. Bro Strider ✕ Karkat Vantas Not going to lie, this is one of my guilty pairings. Due to recent canon events, it's not hard to imagine Karkat being attracted to Bro for much of the reasons he's attracted to Dave. However, I love the idea of Bro Strider as a bit of a creeper: things like age and appropriateness would never stop him from pursuing what he wants. But he's also strong, capable, intelligent: all things that Karkat would (grudgingly) respect. However, unlike Dave, he's manipulative, tricky; a very no nonsense person surrounded by nothing but nonsense most of the time. Karkat is blunt and obstinant, but obviously intelligent and earnest in whatever he chooses to do. The ways in which they differ and what they have in common, could lead to a very interesting dynamic. What might they do if they spent the day together.
